Mr. Banks was a resident of Fordyce, Arkansas and was interested in have a chain of banks inArkansas and Louisiana. He was also President of the Bank of Fordyce.The First National Bank was reorganized, and on February 21, 1922 it reopened as Benton Bankand Trust Company.
