1956 June Henry Caldwell Starts Erection of Large, New Business Building.
Construction of a new business building in the second block of North Main Street has been started by Henry Caldwell, Benton business man. The structure, one-story brick and so designed for addition of another story, will have a 90-foot frontage and a 100-foot depth. Half of the space will be occupied by the Home Supply Co., now at 112 North Main, and appliance and furniture store, in which Mr. Caldwell is associated with Jimmy Turnage. The other half probably will be rented to a ‘big national concern,’ Caldwell said. He operates the Oklahoma Tire and Supply Co., 108 West Sevier.
